MY STORY

My name is Joshua Scarsellone, and my journey into fashion design began just a year ago when I received a sewing machine as a gift. What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into a passion that I pursued relentlessly, teaching myself the art of sewing through trial and error—even if it meant learning from costly mistakes. Driven by my ambition to become a fashion designer, I knew I needed to refine my skills and deepen my knowledge.

Although formal education wasn’t part of my original plan, I discovered a local private sewing school that offered comprehensive training in tailoring, sewing, design, Adobe software, and art. Since enrolling, I’ve been able to correct many of the mistakes I made while self-teaching and have been learning at an accelerated pace. Now, I am eager to apply what I’ve learned and take the next step in my journey by pursuing fashion design at one of the world’s top schools.
